JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will be assigned to our Hill Canyon Water Treatment Plant. The incumbent will learn a variety of skills and duties with the goal of becoming certified as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator or Mechanical or Instrumentation Technician. Requirements for this position include ability to follow directions, adopt good work habits, and be willing to eventually commit to an independent course of study towards obtaining State certification.

Following are duties of the position:
     · Cleaning and maintenance duties such as washing cars and trucks, cleaning,
         sweeping and dusting.
     ·  Introduction to and operation of (with instruction) front-end loaders, tractors and
       other equipment.
     · Training in all facets of treatment plant operation.
